1 dead in Asphalt Plant Explosion in Ardmore, Oklahoma

The police have said that Friday, July 16th in the morning there was an explosion at the Asphalt Express plant in Ardmore Oklahoma. The plant is about 90 miles south of Oklahoma City.

One person was killed in the explosion. The identity of the deceased is still unknown at this time.

They police have confirmed that there were no injuries and no one had been transported from the scene to the hospital.

The Asphalt Express in Ardmore provides transportation, storage and sales of bulk liquids like asphalt and various types of oils.
