Man Pushing Bicycle Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Accident

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Choctaw County on Saturday, May 8th, at approximately 11 p.m. The crash happened on US-70 in Sawyer.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Arron Dickson, of Hugo, was pushing a bicycle alongside the outside lane of US-70 when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.

Tragically, Dickson was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.
