Kansas Man Killed, Two Others Injured in Nowata Crash

A Kansas man died in a car accident on Sunday, May 2nd, at approximately 7:17 p.m. The crash happened on US-169 and State Highway 10, near Nowata.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Christopher Alvarado, of Parsons, Kansas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.

Two others were injured in the crash, but their condition is unknown at this time.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
