Anadarko Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Grady County

An Anadarko man was struck and killed while trying to load a vehicle onto a car dolly in Grady County. The accident happened on Oklahoma Highway 37, just east of County Road 2860, around 3:47 a.m.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 77-year-old Artemio Moreno was attempting to load a vehicle onto a car dolly when he was struck by a 20-year-old Tuttle man in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. Sadly, Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reports stated the 20-year-old was driving under the influence along with two passengers. Neither the driver nor the passengers were injured in the collision.

Did you know in 2019 there were 170 fatal and injury accidents in Grady County (Chickasha, Minco, Tuttle)? Of the total 213 people injured, sadly 13 died as a result of their injuries.
