Two Injured After Collision with Suspected Drunk Driver in Pottawatomie County

Two were injured from a collision with an alleged drunk driver on January 19th in Pottawatomie County. Kelley R. Pollock, an 84-year-old resident of Macomb, was driving eastbound on I-40 in Shawnee with passenger, 89-year-old Hellen I. Pollock when their car was struck by another eastbound vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Raymond George. The collision caused Pollock’s vehicle to veer off the road and roll one-half time, landing on its top, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Both Kelley and Hellen Pollock were transported by ambulance to OU Medical Center and admitted in good condition. Kelley was treated for internal trunk injuries and Hellen for internal trunk and leg injuries.

The OHP listed the cause of the collision as a DUI. George’s condition was reported as ability impaired, but he was not injured in the crash.
