Around 4:30 p.m Monday, July 26th a car crash took place on State Highway 34..
Tina Kuhel (age 53) of Haysville, Kansas was driving south on State Highway 34 when she was hit by a van driven by Lichuan Ma (age 63) of Plano, Texas. Ma had been going west on county road 51 and had failed to stop for a stop sign. Ma was uninjured from the crash.
Kuhel was taken by Air Evac to OU Medical Center and admitted in stable condition with head, arm and leg injuries.
Earlier in the day, around 6 a.m. another accident occurred on US Highway 183.
Nicholas Foster (age 43) was going south on US Highway 183 when he was hit by another vehicle. The other vehicle driven by Kath Masoner (age 66) of Forth Worth Texas was going north down US Highway 183.
Foster had to be taken to the Harper County Community Hospital then by Air Evac to OU Medical in serious condition.
Masoner was treated and released at the Harper County Community Hospital.
Reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol indicate that Masoner’s vehicle went left of center and hit the Foster vehicle for unknown reasons.
