Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a crash on June 14th around 1:00 p.m. near I-40 and Martin Luther King.
The cause of the accident is still unknown and under investigation. When emergency crews had arrived at the scene most drivers has suffered minor injuries, except for one. 26-year-old Alecia Buffington had to be transported to OU medical with head injuries in serious condition. Unfortunately Buffington passed away on Saturday June 19th due to her injuries sustained during the car accident.
