Failure to Stop Caused Duncan Injury Accident

Four people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident near Duncan on Saturday, May 15th. The crash happened on U.S. Highway 81 and West Terry Road, just 2.5 miles south of Duncan.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Antonio Alvarez failed to stop at a stop sign and struck another vehicle. The impact caused the second vehicle to spin out of control and Alvarez’s truck to roll.

The four occupants of the second vehicle were transported to Duncan Regional Hospital. The driver and two of the passengers were treated for minor injuries and released. Passenger, Braden Wright, was taken to OU Medical for internal trunk and head injuries.
