Two Injured After Collision in Woods County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision in Woods County, near Hopeton. The crash happened at U.S. 281 and Craig Road at approximately 10:15 a.m.

According to authorities, 71-year-old Dwight Kistner, of Waverly, Kansas, was traveling west on Craig Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and hit 29-year-old Olga Romo, of Waynoka.

Romo was transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City to be treated for serious head and trunk injuries. Kistner was treated and released at Share Medical Center in Alva.
