The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle collision on Wednesday night, March 10th. The fatal crash left one man dead, and one passenger injured. Authorities stated the accident happened on North Walbaum Road, south of 122nd Street Northwest, near Geary, Oklahoma.
According to the OHP, 26-year-old Dustin Blevins, was driving too fast when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a barbed-wire fence. The vehicle overturned and Blevins was ejected from the car. Tragically, Blevins was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.
Passenger, 29-year-old Misty Burton, was transported to the hospital for head and internal injuries. She is reportedly in stable condition.
Troopers noted neither of the victims were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
