Head-on Car Crash in Norman Injures Two

On the morning of December 28th, an injury accident occurred in Norman along Highway 9 and Jenkins Avenue.  Two drivers crashed head-on, injuring both and causing one man to be trapped inside.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation and the severity of the injuries are unknown.

Did you know that in 2019 there were 602 fatal or injury car accidents in Cleveland County (Norman, Moore, South Oklahoma City)?   Of the 790 total people that were injured, sadly 18 of those died as a result of their injuries.  Most of those potential wrongful death accidents occurred East of I-35, in rural Cleveland County, or on Highway 9, East of Norman.  Highway 9 East in and near Norman is one of the most dangerous stretches of highway in Cleveland County in terms of car accidents.
