The accident took place Sunday, July 4th in the morning. The collision occurred near the intersection of State Highway 9 and Drummond Road in Tecumseh.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that the crash involved one vehicle with a driver and passenger. The driver of the vehicle was transported and taken hospitalized with head injuries at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City as of Sunday, July 4th.
The passenger, John Retzlaff (age 84), was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are still unsure about what caused the crash to take place or how the crash took place.
