Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, June 5th there was a head-on collision on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City according to authorities.
The two vehicles collided when a truck driven by Montrel Shipley (age 91) was traveling the wrong way on the freeway early Saturday morning and collided with the car driven by Paul Flemings (age 45).
Both Shipley and Flemings were pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. It took the OKC Fire Department to free the bodies of the deceased from the wreckage.
A woman (age 33) was a passenger in Flemings’ vehicle was injured and taken to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, listed as in fair condition.
