On Sunday July 4th the Shawnee police responded to a boat accident involving two 17-year-old girls.
The teens had been on a tube connected to the boat when the operator of the boat collided with their tube. Which caused the two teens to sustain injuries.
Both had to be transported by React EMS ambulance to the children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City for treatment of their injuries.
At the time the incident is still under investigation
