Head-On Collision on U.S. 81 near Duncan Oklahoma, Kills 3 injures 1

A collision occurred south of Duncan, Oklahoma on U.S. 81 at around 7:42 p.m. on Thursday, June 17.

The collision sadly killed two Texas natives: Kennedy Caldwell, 20, of Denton, and Connor Slocum, 19, of Aubrey, who were pronounced dead at the scene to their injuries. In attempt to pass another car Caldwell collided with another vehicle coming from the other direction head on. Caldwell was also hit by the car they had been attempting to pass.

One of the other drivers, Jerry Pardue, age 74, from Duncan, Oklahoma had to be transported by Air Evac to the OU Medical Center in critical condition. His status is unknown at the present moment.

The third driver, John Salazar, age 50, of Waurika, Oklahoma was transported by AMR to the Duncan Regional Hopsital, and later taken by Air Eva to OU Medical center in fair condition. Sadly Tuesday, June 15th Salazar passed away due to his injuries.
