Crash in Carter County Kills 1, Injures 4

Around 5:30 p.m. a crash took place in Carter County, caused by a driver going southbound on Keller Road just north of Memorial Road.

Dustin Bulla, age 35, was driving a 1995 Dodge Ram 3500 when he went left on a hill-crest hitting a 2001 Honda Odyssey. Bulla was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, but refused treatment at the scene.

The Honda Odyssey had 5 occupants at the time of the crash: Brian Eccles (age 57), Michal Eccles (age 41), a twelve-year-old girl, a 9-year-old boy, and a 2 year-old boy.

Michal Eccles was transported to Mercy of Healdton Hospital were she was pronounced deceased due to her injuries from the crash.

Brian Eccles and the 2-year-old boy were transported to Mercy of Ardmore Hospital and later transferred to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

The 12-year-old and 9-year old were taken to Mercy of Ardmore treated for their injuries and released.
