2 Women Injured in Collision on Muskogee Turnpike

Friday morning, July 16th a 2016 Nissan Sentra, hydroplaned and struck a barrier wall on the Muskogee Turnpike.

The Sentra veered off the roadway, hit a sign, drove through a culvert, before overturning a half time, and coming to rest on its top.

The driver, Corey Radford (age 21) was transported by the Muskogee County Emergency Medical Service to Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa for arm and leg injuries. She has since been released from the hospital.

The passenger, Katherine Robl (age 23) was taken by ambulance to the St John Medical Center in Tulsa with arm injuries. Reportedly she was admitted in good condition.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol the collision was caused by driving at an unsafe speed during the rain/on a wet road way. Seat belt were in use, but there is no information about the airbags.
