Two Men Injured in Muskogee Turnpike Collision

Two men were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Muskogee on Thursday, May 20th, at 5:20 p.m. The crash happened on the Muskogee Turnpike.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a car driven by 43-year-old Robert Stewart was traveling westbound on the Muskogee Turnpike when his vehicle was struck on the right side by a car driven by 39-year-old Michael Alberty.

The impact caused Stewart’s vehicle to crash into the center wall, while Alberty’s car veered off the roadway.

Stewart sustained head, neck, leg and internal and external trunk injuries, and was transported to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Stewart’s passenger, 45-year-old Michael Daniels, was transported to Saint Francis Muskogee with internal trunk and leg injuries. Alberty was not injured in the crash.
