Two Injured in Beaver County Auto Accident

Two people were injured in a Beaver County accident on Friday, May 21st, at 3:47 p.m. The crash happened on County Road EW26 and County Road NS154, 17.5 miles south and 2.5 miles west of Knowles.

Marvin Lynn James, 78, was traveling eastbound on County Road EW26 when his vehicle collided at an intersection with a car driven by 65-year-old Gus Ray Blackwell on County Road NS154. The impact of the collision caused both James and Blackwell to veer off the roadway, coming to a rest in a ditch.

James was treated and released at Beaver County Memorial Hospital. Blackwell was also transported to Beaver County Memorial, where he was treated for internal trunk and leg injuries.
