A Blackwell woman was killed on Sunday, May 16th, after being run over by a stock trailer. The fatal accident happened on a county road just one mile north of Lucien.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Patricia Rascon slipped and fell on a cattle guard while opening a gate to a Noble County property. Rascon landed between a truck, driven by 65-year-old Alvaro Rason Bojorquez, and the 16-foot stock trailer it was pulling.

Rascon was run over and sadly pronounced dead due to internal and external trunk, arm, and leg injuries. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.
