36-Year-Old Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Collision in Tillman County

A Tulsa man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Tillman County on Wednesday, April 5th. The crash happened on US-183 and East 1760 Road, three miles south of Manitou.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 36-year-old James C. Barrett, of Tulsa, was walking northbound on US-183 when he was struck by an oncoming Ford F-150.

Barrett was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.

The driver of the truck was not injured. The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation. More information will be provided as it is released by authorities.
