A Ponca City Public Schools student was struck by a bus on Friday afternoon, April 2nd. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Prentice Road at approximately 4 p.m.
The student was transported to Alliance Health of Ponca City and later flown to another hospital. Authorities stated only a few students remained on the bus for drop-off at the time of the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
