One Person Dead Following Seminole County Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a fatal collision on Sunday, April 25th, around 11:30 a.m. The crash happened on westbound Interstate 40, near mile marker 197.

The OHP were notified of a vehicle driving the wrong direction down the interstate just before the accident occurred. Reports stated multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.

Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people sustained injuries and were transported to OU Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
