One person died and another was injured following a crash into a bridge in Oklahoma City on Friday evening, April 9th. The collision happened near Martin Luther King Avenue and Interstate 40.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle did not see a semi-truck had turned onto the road and swerved. The driver veered off the roadway and crashed into a bridge.
Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim. Another person sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Additionally, while responding to the scene, an Oklahoma City police officer in their vehicle was struck by a drunk driver. Thankfully, the officer was not injured, and the driver was arrested.
