Three Injured in Ambulance Accident in Tulsa

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident involving an ambulance on Monday, March 22nd, around 5 p.m. The crash happened on eastbound US-412, just west of 49th West Avenue, near Tulsa.

According to officials, the driver of the ambulance, 32-year-old John Anders of Ponca City, was traveling eastbound when the vehicle hydroplaned, veered off the roadway, and rolled several times. Anders was transported to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa and treated for internal trunk injuries.

Two passengers in the ambulance also suffered injuries. Robbie N. Monroe, 68, of Ponca City, was transported to St. John and treated for head, arm, leg, and internal and external trunk injuries. Landon Carpenter, 28, also of Ponca City, was admitted to St. John with similar injuries.
