One Man Dead Following Head-On Collision with Family of Four

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a fatal head-on collision involving a family of four on Friday, March 26th. The crash happened at 60th Avenue Southeast and US-77, near Noble.

According to authorities, 47-year-old Bruce Underwood was driving under the influence when he crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Justin Kinman. Kinman attempted to swerve but was hit along with his wife and two young children in the vehicle.

Kinman and his wife were admitted to OU Medical Center with internal injuries. The two children, ages 4 and 6, were also transported to OU Medical with minor injuries.

Underwood was trapped within his vehicle for nearly 20 minutes before he was freed from the wreckage. He was admitted to OU Medical Center in critical condition. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, March 31st.
