A fatal crash occurred early Tuesday morning, February 2nd, in Garvin County. The collision was located on State Highway 29, south of Pauls Valley.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Brendan Kelam, of Peverly, Missouri, was traveling westbound when he hit a deer and then struck an oncoming vehicle driven by 48-year-old Amber Cody of Elmore City.
Both Kelam and Cody veered off the roadway, with Cody’s vehicle crashing into a barbed wire fence. Sadly, Cody was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kelam declined medical treatment.
