Muskogee County Teenager Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Accident

A teenager from Warner, Oklahoma died after being hit by a vehicle in Muskogee County on Saturday, January 16th. Tragically, 18-year-old Tyler Patterson was killed after being struck by a vehicle while he was filling up his car with gas on the side of the road.

The accident occurred on southbound U.S. 64, near 163rd Street South, two miles north of Warner. Sadly, Patterson was declared dead at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim.

A 17-year-old who was walking with Patterson was injured but is reportedly in good condition.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
