A fatal car accident occurred in Purcell on October 2nd according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The car accident occurred on I-35 near mile marker 91 in Purcell when a jeep and semi-truck collided. The deceased is a 56-year-old Forney, Texas resident who was struck from behind by a semi-truck driver. The deceased was pinned in his vehicle until the Purcell Fire Department was able to free him.
The semi-truck driver was not injured in the accident.
Did you know that in 2019 there were 100 fatal or injury car accidents in McClain County (Purcell, Lexington, Blanchard, Newcastle)?
