Fatal Car Accident in Lincoln County Kills Prague Man & Injures Ada Residents

A fatality accident in Lincoln County occurred on October 26th.  Tommy Rogers of Prague died as a result of the accident after being struck by a vehicle occupied by three Ada area residents.  State authorities are still investigating what caused their vehicle to cross a highway’s centerline resulting in a crash near Prague in Lincoln County, Oklahoma.

Haley Price, 29, Chelsea Easley Wade, 28, and Veronica Brunson, 24, all of Ada, were transported to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. All three were admitted in fair condition.

Both vehicles were equipped with seat belts, and all persons involved were wearing them at the time of the crash. Airbags deployed in both vehicles.

Troopers report conditions outside were rainy with patchy ice at the time of the crash. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

Did you know that in 2019 there were 99 fatal or injury car accidents in Lincoln County (Chandler, Prague, Stroud, Meeker, Wellston)?   Of the 127 total people that were injured, sadly 9 of those died as a result of their injuries.  Most of those potential wrongful death accidents occurred on the I-44, while a small number occurred on Highway 18.
