Oklahoma City man who wore diapers pleads guilty to sexual battery

Friday, June 17th, 2011

An Oklahoma City man who wore diapers as a part of a con pleaded guilty to sexual battery and outraging public decency.

Mark Anthony Richardson II twice last year fooled women into baby-sitting him at their Oklahoma City homes, police said. He told a police detective he did it for a sexual purpose.

“I made these individuals do things such as change my diapers … and feed me a bottle,” Richardson told Oklahoma County District Judge Jerry Bass in the plea paperwork.

He also admitted that he touched the breast of one woman’s then 18 year old daughter from the outside of her shirt.

Richardson, 21, was charged with sexual battery, a felony, for groping the baby sitter’s daughter.

He was charged with seven misdemeanor counts of outraging public decency for seven times women changed his diapers.

He faces 10 years in prison on the felony and a year in the county jail on each misdemeanor count.

For the con, Richardson admitted he acted autistic. He also posed over the phone as his own father to arrange a baby-sitting job, police said.

He stayed overnight at times last September at one baby sitter’s house, according to testimony at a preliminary hearing. He used a pacifier, drank baby formula and threw childlike fits, according to the testimony. The woman who watched him last September talked of reading him a bedtime story and rocking him to calm him.

Richardson is 4 feet 9 inches tall.

The sexual battery victim testified she was asleep when he grabbed her breast over her T-shirt during one of his overnight stays. She testified that, because she then thought he was autistic, she just told him not to do that.
