An arrest has been made in an Oklahoma City homicide, police said Friday.

Danny Lee, 26, is in jail on a murder complaint in the shooting death of Marquis Lewis, 18, of Oklahoma City, police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said. Lee is from Detroit but had been living in Oklahoma City recently.

Lewis’ body was found late Wednesday on the grounds of Willow Cliff apartments in the 5400 block of Willow Cliff Road.

Wardlow said an altercation broke out between the two men shortly before the shooting.

Homicide investigators located Lee and interviewed him Thursday. He was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail, Wardlow said.

A 20 month old, Miami Oklahoma child died Thursday and his father is in the Ottawa  County jail on a murder complaint, according to Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.  D.J. Ray yates of Miami was arrested in connection with the death of Quinton yates.  The toddler, who had trauma wounds on his body, was dead on arrival at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami.

Brown said the boy’s mother called 911 about 2pm.  the child was taken from his home at a mobile home park outside the city’s limits north of Miami.  Brown declined to release any more information about the child’s death.  In 2007 yates was charged in Ottawa County district Court with conspiracy to commit murder.  He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of conspiracy to commit felony in a plot to kill a Fairland teenager and was given a fiveyear deferred sentence.  He was ordered to serve a 10 year suspended sentence.

A man is in custody in connection with a 1999 fatal drive by shootig in Oklahoma City because a survivor says now has the the courage to tell the truth abuot what happened, a district attorney’s cold case investigator reported.  Tushaunte Eugene Moore, turned himself in Monday at the Oklahoma County jail after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest in the death.

Moore, who is on probation for a marijuana offense, is innocent said his attorey David Slane.  The police have made a mistake.  Prosecutors allege Moore was trying to kill Dawson, who testified against two of Moore’s friends in a double murder case. Prosecutors say a charge against Moore is being prepared.

The wife of Osage Firefighter Michael Cobb has been arrested in connection with his death, Wendy Mechelle Cobb was arrested monday on a murder complain.  Michael Cobb died April 28th in an arson at her hoe in Jenks.  Court papaers state Wendy cobb assisted Nicholas Lee Shires, in killing Michael Cobb, Shires was also arrested in June.
